I dined there Thursday night 9/14. The waitresses were standing around not attentive to me or my requests such as; please turn down the cold air conditioning, ignored, inattentive to coffee refills and water. The gyro was heavy on lamb (delicious), light on tomato only two very thin mushy slices, the onions were scanty and paper thin. I asked for more tagica sauce and was told that would be a dollar up charge, cmon. Coffee came with cream but no tea spoon to stir it in. Two stars!

Just ate there for the first time and wow. Amazing gyros👌😍😁
Not sure about this one. A friend recommended this place to me. The first thing I remember was being greeted and asked if I wanted a table. I let her know, this was my first time in and, I would like to try the gyro, to go. Then another lady comes out and, abruptly asks if I wanted it for here. Now, I'm thinking, I must have caught them on a bad day. I was told about getting soup with the, stuffed gyro, big city style. Turns out, the waitress was nice and, offered the soup, but before, I made my choice, the same lady that seemed to be in charge of the place, called to the waitress and told her to tell me that was not the deal. Ok. I get the gyro with some fries topped with feta anyway! So all in all it was ok, but not as warm and, generous as described. Not sure if I'd want to dine in this place after that. I will entertain a coupon or special to go, due to it being the only place I know that actually serves the stick lamb/beef combo gyro.
Awesome restraunt great waitress
Excellent! Amazing Vegan menu selection And traditional Greek with a twist selection! The Gracie's Platter is a must have when you simply can't decide- it is filled with delicious goodness! Real food, made from scratch and with love.

From the service to the food... Everything was awesome. Thanks for doing it right!
This is much more than a gyro shop! Love the veggie keftes - amazing. As is everything else Greek. I havent tried any non-Greek there, but Ill wager it is scrumptious. The travel posters from Greece and various Greek object dart make for unique surroundings. Its not an elegant place - all effort goes into excellent food and the most welcoming atmosphere. When in La Crosse, WI, stop at Gracies!
Great food, out dated décor/restaurant but the food makes up for it!!
This restaurant is the hidden gem of La Crosse. The traditional Greek food is masterfully created by Gracie, and enhanced her own special twist. Gather your best friends, order from the extensive menu and have a wonderful time sampling each other's selections! Our meal was a sensory delight -beautifully presented, with amazing tastes and textures. Our multi course meal was truly divine.
Ever heard of a GYRO BURGER? Well this place has it. They call it the Gracie's Monster Burger and the price is excellent for the amount of food you get! $9 gets you two juicy patties, topped with delectable gyro meat and feta cheese (I'm sure you can substitute the cheese if you wanted to) and fries. The fries can be upgraded to Greek fries for $1 more and that's when they add feta cheese to them with olive oil and Greek spices. So good! Everyone should try this place. It's so good!
in response to: I have never heard of Baklava ...
here's the picture!
If you want great tasting Greek food made fresh everyday then Gracie's is where you want to go! Best Greek food in La Crosse & great prices!
Amazing food! I can't wait to go back again. Prices are great too! Portions sizes are filling, quality & freshness outstanding. I know we'll quickly become regulars. Totally a hidden gem of La Crosse!
We've been visiting Gracie's for a number of years. The staff is always friendly, and the place always looks clean! Did I forget to mention the great food? They have special desserts like Baklava, and delicious main dishes! Yum! A great La Crosse neighborhood restaurant. Gracie's is easy to find, running along a small business corridor adjacent to the UW campus. We often walk or take our bikes to lunch!
